Hooker headers? Good Idea?

Talking Hooker headers? Good Idea?

I have the chance to buy a set of hooker comp long tubes for my camaro
there used, but he said theres no more then 3,000 miles on them. He wants 385 for them.
Good Idea. Whats your opinion on these. Good deal? Ive seem them one like summit and stuff for about $800

are they coated or just painted? if coated thats deffinatly a deal

Yeah there ceramic coated, They seem like there in good condition. Am I gonna need O2 senser extenders or whatever?

you may need the o2 extensions but if your coated thats a good deal

yeah i had to use extenders on the passenger side,but you can stretch them to fit,but id just dish out $20 for extenders,sound like a good deal to me,i paid around $700 for mine but that was like 3 years ago

As long as they're coated and not beat up I say go for it. You'll either need O2 extensions or you need to be handy with a soldering iron.

Thats a good deal man...you can extend the o2 sensor wires with any silver wire..not copper make sure cause it wont read properly. Just do one at a time so u dont get confused and i guess i should tell you that you are not gonna just be able to bolt those right in. I had to pull the engine and tie the headers to the sides then drop the engine in on them
That was the only way i could fit my long tubes. Some poeple have disputed me on here about that, but i would like to see them do it, cause i tried every which a way :-D

you tried goin from under the car? i know we went from under and all we had tho do was take the strater off

i tried under over around and trough :-D pace setter long tubes...they would not go..lol Maybe just me but i had a rough time with it.
