Default high oil pressure?

when I'm driving the oil pressure is normally above 40, more around the 50 range. in low rpms, 1000- 2000 its right about 40. it doesn't seem to get to or above 60 (i haven't molested it so it might at WOT) Does this seem bad?
There's 5600miles on it. Any ideas? there is an aftermarket MAF on it ( PO bought it, random upgrade huh?)

You oil pressure is fine. Mine sits at 60 on a cold start and drops to 20-25~ at idle (<1,000rpm, no throttle).

The rule of thumb is a minimum of 10 PSI for every 1000 RPM. Maximum oil pressure is regulated by a relief valve in the oil circuit. Your car is doing fine, start worrying about something else. lol

Those areas aren't under pressure, but are subjected to having oil bathe them.
The seals were installed incorrectly or the crank had grooves in the seal area from the previous installation. There are sleeves that can be installed over your crank to stop the leak.

clean it and check to see if its really coming from the front seal. the water pump shaft seal can leak and run down there, the front intake manifold seal is another and the oil pan gasket can also get hard and fail to seal and leak at the front.
