take the plug wires off that side and dry it very good. use electrical grease on the ends when reinstalling. im sureprized you not getting backfire at least.

i put in a 180 thermostat but my temp guage is gettin up to 240 degrees at times. should i be concerned? also im havin to add a lot of coolant but i dont see a leak. im addin about half a gallon about evey other day. also im get about 100 miles per tank. im definetly runnin rich. i can smell it. but only 100 miles per tank dont sound right

What does the oil look like? Not firing on 4 cylinders and losing coolant doesnt sound very good.

not firing on all cylinders was due to low gas. which seemed odd. it had enough gas to start but no for all cylinders to fire. soon as i added more gas it was all good. so now im jus worried about the coolant.

have you done a pressure test on your cooling system. it can help to find leaks.

have you reset the lifters? could be exhaust leak at the headers or lifter set wrong or failing.

i dont think its an exhaust leak. from where the noise is comin from it sounds like the lifters or rocker arms. idk. how do i reset the lifters? do u think i can keep driving it? it my daily driver.
