if u have a volt meter check your voltage when the car is running. should be in the 13.5 area when running. i got into a shot of crapy lights a couple yrs ago and was getting a new one every month or so. sylvania is what im using now and they seem to last pretty good. a yr or so.

The only things I can think of that can cause the lights to fail are: the lights themselves, water getting into the housing, a bad connection causing the light to flicker, a bad ground on the charging system, or a bad voltage regulator allowing the alternator voltage to goo too high.

idk if this helps... BUT. If you're just replacing the bulb make sure you don't touch the bulb. or it will go out. also, in mine. my driver side light is always going out. i just bang on her a couple of times on the top of the hood above the light. and she always pops back on.
