Headlights!

One of my bulbs in my 94 z28 just went out so i need to buy a new hallogen and all but are there any aftermarket ones to buy like with the blue leds or is that impossible lol help please

well nothing is impossible. there are a couple threads on here where the headlights were changed to halo. as far as whats available in a plug and go then your outa luck. they do make a little brighter seal beams but thats it. be right back. ok im back, the h4351xv sylvania brights and ek46109 eiko dims are a little brighter. at least supposed to be, im gona try em. you can also do a bulb mod where you take the sealbeam apart and change the light only. i didnt look into that much.

ok well we tried to replace the headlight this weekend it lasted 5 mins turn the car off went to dinner came back and the light wasnt workig somthing is wrong with the wiring. we tried to replace the fuse but there wasnt a a spot for the fuse like there wass a slot but nothing in it

so only one light is not working? if thats the case then i dont see how it could be a fuse. check for power to the plug at that light. test the light itself. i got into a bad batch of bulbs at the parts store and went through a few in a couple of weeks before i got good bulbs. dang things are not cheap either.

you have to remamber if just changing the bulb don't touch the light the oil from your hands can mess it up.

martin i think,,, hope he was talking about the headlight and not the driving lights. you can get blue driving lights.

If he has a '94, unless he swapped out the quad headlight sealed-beams for bulbs and buckets, then there's no issue with touching the lens...

As for the OP, I'd check on the wiring/socket for the bulb too. If there's dirt/rust in there, it might break the contact enough to keep the bulb off.

i just know when i replaced my lights i noticed that you can replace the bulb but the older ones you can't
