Default Headers for 93' Z

Ive been looking at getting headers for my 93' Z28. Some of the sites Ive been checking out have 93' specific headers, is there a difference between the 93' and 94-97? Or are they all the same?

EGR position changed from 93 to 94-97. If you don't need EGR for emissions, then any 93-97 header will work. If you need the EGR you need the 93 headers.

Edit: Just noticed you live in Ohio and knowing you guys have the least strict laws out there, you'll be fine with 93-97 headers that don't include EGR provisions.

They're not really any worse than the other years. Just special in their own little way.

Uniqueness is really all I can think of. 96 and 97 would probably be the better years since they switched to OBD-II and make tuning a bit easier and they started with 10 extra HP. Would I trade mine for a 94-97? Nope. Simple reason being that I enjoy it being different and when you break it all down, the only major changes were the computers and the vented opti. That's about it, I think.

one is we can flash codes, dont need no scanner. another is the ecu/computer is easier to tune, pull the prom and plug in another. i know some would disagree but i think the 93 is a classic. first of its kind and unlike all in many ways. first born of royalty is prince or princess right,,, i aint callin my car princess. i know people are surprised when i tell them how old my car is.

I just figured if your going with headers, you weren't going to worry about the egr or anything.
