I think I'm going to use Kooks as well when I do mine. They sit up tighter then the other brands. You can literally find headers on most online vendor sites. Heck, just type lt1 headers in google and check out all the sites that pop up they're the most common.
Kooks Headers< X-pipe (no cats)< Bullet mufflers...anyone know of a setup like this? Haven't been able to see or find any pics of an early 4th gen with similar setups as I am wanting. |
thanks for the feedback guys I found a nice pair of kooks headers imma get for myself next week for my birthday :)
|
Kooks are a Big price. I know someone who has coated pacesetters and his had them on for a few years and there still fine. But if you have the money why not?
|
Coated Pacesetters will start rusting in a year. Personally, I'd rather just pay $400~ for some painted headers and Y + BBQ paint.

Anyone try the Jet coat. I know a guy that makes headers and he swears by it. I have an older set of SLP headers and I was thinking of sending them off to get coated. I think the cost is right around $250
My research shows a couple of years ago there was a ebay Stainless set for $400 I can not find them any more. Attachment 23114 |
That would be OBX but they're expected to come back with their stainless long tubes in a few months.
