I wish I had purchased that style because they go in much easier and I ended up deleting the smog and egr.

Do you live where they do emission testing? If so, then you probably can't use the off road version.

The more important question is which header gaskets did you buy?

Did you get Percy's Seal 4 Good or Mr Gasket dead soft aluminum or are you using something else so you get leaks?

As long as you don't have emissions testing, Felpro 1406 for the gasket.

spend the $10 more and get gaskets that will NEVER leak, Percy's or dead soft aluminum Mr Gaskets.

If you like going back and trying to tighten header bolts to fight leaks then get the Felpros. They sometimes seal OK when first installed. There is a reason I am so adamant about the dead soft aluminum ones. I have paid my dues using copper, Felpros et al over the years.

I will never use anything else but dead soft aluminum.

depends on if you need to pass a polution/emissions test. if not and you want to do away with the egr and polution pump then your good to go.
