You do not have the milk shake of death there, so you can breath a little easier.

Just took the first 2 spark plugs out, interested in what you guys have to say about them. There's a slight pink discoloration? Also seem dirty. These were put in about 15-20k miles ago.

The gap looks extremely wide, maybe just the picture. What is the gap on that plug anyway?

That does not look bad to me. What you are looking for is one really clean one. That would indicate the bad cylinder. Does your car have the green or orange coolant in it?

Green. None of them were clean.

I'm gonna start taking it apart tomorrow. As far as replacing stuff goes.. what do you guys think about rockers? Can they be updated without messing with the cam? What else should I be looking at?

My pops wants to go ahead and just do the head gasket.. You think that's a mistake?

As for running rich, I had a short in the coolant temperature sensor wiring for a really long time that went un-noticed. You think that might be what's on the plugs still?

your 02s are probly fouled as well. may get away with torching them clean. i have used my acetylene torch to clean 02s with limited success. it would be a good idea to see what the numbers are before goin in. that way if you have a weak cylinder you will know to look at it real close.
