Default Fuel filter replacement

So I've been looking for a writeup on how to change a fuel filter, but have had no luck. Is this a doable job for the DIY car guy? Car is running lean at WOT despite having a freshly cleaned MaF sensor. Pretty sure the fuel filter needs to be changed. Never did this before, just want to know if any specialized tools are needed?

changing your fuel filter is one of the easiest jobs you can do to a car all you need is the disconnect tool and a new filter go to autozone ask them for a filter and if they can show you the tool to take the old filter off just slide the tool between the filter and the line give it a little shake and shimmy and it should pop right off ***MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE NEW FILTER IN THE RIGHT WAY*** to install the new one just shove the filter end into the line and you should hear it click thats it... ohhh did i mention a drain pan theres a good bit of fuel that will come out and keep your head away when disconnecting gas in the eyes is horrible

^ Your 3.4 isn't an LT1 like the one in the link, and the one in question. Guess they're different.

Appreciate the help. I completely missed that on shbox, which is a very useful site. Going to change that today and hopefully fix the lean WOT readings i've been getting.

Thanks for the help guys, replaced my fuel filter with ease. Hopefully I did it right, because now I am getting a P1441 code. Could this be related to something I did while replacing the filter? I know that's an EVAP code of some sort....

a evap hose goes by the fuil filter. you would have to really jam it to break but is possible. this is in the stickies. https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...-system-51219/
