what all would you have to change to put a 2000 z28 clip on a 96 z28

are you doing a front end conversion? there is a lot of info on google about that.
this tech article gives a lot of info on changing a 93-97 front end to 98-02, check it out it may have the info you need.

NO! thats just like putting SS badges on a V6... u are lying saying that you have on of the new-er camaro's. yes i do have an SS hood (but i do have a v8) on my car but many people dont know that it came standard on SS's so they just compliment me on my hood. and the 98-02 camaro front end's look like chrysler sebring to me. spend your money elsewhere :) sorry if thats mean and such.

lol that's funny, but true. i like the Chrysler sebring analogy cause i used to own one and my friends said that often. but there's nothing really that different if he changes the front end to a 98 as its very similar to putting an ss hood on a z28. i can see what you mean though. but if your going to do a front end conversion and having purchased a 93-97 body you should have just waited and bought an ls1. personally i think the 93-97 front looks much better, but that's opinion. if you disagree you can find the parts to convert for cheap there is nothing wrong with it, just don't say you own an ls1...
