Default front brake pads

So I thought working on the front brakes today would be a piece of cake compared to the rear pads I replaced yesterday. Boy was a I wrong! So I loosened the 2 caliper bolts on the passenger side. It's not a typical retaining bolt that you loosen and lift up the caliper. Instead, the head of the bolt is an inverted hex. I used a 3/8 hex socket and loosened each of the 2 caliper bolts for what seemed like 30 minutes each, but I still cannot get the caliper free from the rotor? How do I finish this job? This car is by far the worst I've worked on as far as brakes go, ugggh!

once the bolts are out and the caliper doesn't come out you can take a flat tip screw driver and put were the piston is and just and just pull towards you it should come out after that.
