fresh lt1 rebuild?

Default fresh lt1 rebuild?

just a few dumb questions. i need a rebuild and i was thinking about going the 383 way. i know theres a kit on ebay for around 800 bucks. is that any good? wut all would i need new? and how much approximatly for the parts and machine work. i already have a new set of heads, cam, 1.6rr, valve springs, tb, optispark, plugs and wires.

Do yourself a favor and don't go for the ebay kit. The last thing you want is crappy parts in your bottom end. Look into a good Eagle forged kit and do it right the first time. As far as parts and machine work, it depends on who you have local to you and how much they cost, parts are just a matter of what you're willing to spend.

ive always heard bad things about eagle, but they have been around a while and i see more of their parts than anyone else.yeah for the entire rotating assembly(a good one) youre lookin at around 3k, or 2500 if you buy it as a kit

Lunati makes great stuff, but they are rather pricey, their rotating assembly is almost 4k

it all depends on your budget and plans
