Default fog light issues

i had a 97Z and my driver side fog light got busted by a rock.I bought a replacement at gm which arent cheap by the way $125 well i totaled my Z before i got to put it on i just bought a 96 ss and damn it if 2 weeks after i get it my brother shoots a hole in my fog light with his bb gun i still have the replacement but the one day i was going to put it in my 97 i got all worked up and gave up because it seemed as though i was going to have to remove the bumper i tried to do just that, and did not succeed. please tell me that there is a easier way than removing the bumper. and if not where are the other things that attach the bumper to the car i removed the bolts on the bottom and the plastic pins on the top and the brackets next to the headlights and it still wouldnt come off.

Default RE: fog light issues

If I remember correctly, which it has been about 3 yrs since I've worked on the fog lights, there should be a plastic push pin in one side of the fog light. The push pin is the type that the center piece slides in and out spreading the outer shell to create a interference fit. Once you remove this from the one side the light just pops out. If it doesn't work that way then i'm on crack but that what i remember.....good luck
