Exhaust Help

Once thing I really liked about the Magnaflow when it was on my car was the way the tips looked. They are real long and they look really aggressive from the back.
Here is a clip of when I had my Magnaflow. To give you an Idea of what it sounds like.

Do you guys know if the Magnaflow is a bolt-on or weld-on application? And is any bending needed? What about the SLP Loudmouth, is that a bolt-on?
I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow just cuz of the stainless steel, the lifetime warranty, and I heard its quieter in the interior...

Yes they are bolt on gagger84. And I seen where you mentioned that you are leaning towards "Magnaflow just cuz of the stainless steel, the lifetime warranty, and I heard its quieter in the interior." You are correct and if you want all these things magnaflows are the perfect exhuast for you. Good luck buddy!

There is no welding required. Unless you take it to a muffler shop. They will weld the Y pipe to the first piece of the exhaust.
If you do it yourself, then no.
There is no bending or fabrication. These systems bolt right up. The only way you would need to bend or fab would be if you did a custom exhaust.
But when you buy a Magnaflow, SLP, etc. they fit right up.
Honestly, the Magnaflow and the SLP aren't much different in interior noise. Like I was saying about the bass, the bass is on the inside. Not really the outside.

You can get the headers and Y pipe whenever. If you are looking for more power and better sound....adding headers, Y pipe, AND exhaust will really make a difference. It kind of just depends on how deep your wallet is.
What exactly are you looking to get out of your car?
If you want just sound, the exhaust is fine.
The headers and the Y pipe will give you even MORE sound, along with about 30 HP...they make the car COMPLETELY different ! I would 110% recommend headers if they are in your budget.
But you can add the Headers and Y pipe whenever you are ready to add them.

i prefer the slp loudmouth 1. i have yet to hear an f-body that sounds as badass as 1 with a loudmouth 1. i paid about 500 for mine installed and all. in my opinion its the perfect balance between sound, power, and price. another plus is you dont get the droning noise on the freeway. but it is loud!!!!!! : )
