94 z28, LT1 with stock exhaust. Just wondering if there is a gasket that goes in between the manifold and down pipe.

 

should be an o ring/doughnut.

 

yea youd think that wouldnt ya. I dont have a donut gasket on mine and autozone couldnt find the part any pics of the manifold with and without the donut?

 

i show a one for the v6 but not the lt1. only time i had mine apart was to put the headers on so didnt pay attention.

 

parts store call that gasket the exhaust flange gasket. They should have two different ones for right and left side. I just bought one from autozone when i changed my cat about a month ago, so they got them or can get them.
