Well u have a couple of good companies to choose from. There is slp, magnaflow, dynamax and many others. Most are around the same prices. Nothing too cheap. But u could always go with flowmasters which everyone has and wouldnt be too original. But its ur choice and how much u r willing to spend. I myself am looking into a slp which costs a little but is loud also.

Is anyone ever run glasspacks anymore? I think thats about the loudest you can get without running with no cats or mufflers.

True glasspacks tend to blow out with the exhaust pressure you get from modern V8s, but there are the equivalent.

Try this. REMOVE the mufflers. Leave the cats on and the rest of the exhaust - it will be coming out under the trunk and technically illegal and you don't want to do that for very long, but it won't be as loud as you expect with the cats and about ten feet of pipe. See how it sounds. Then, maybe get someone to weld in some big ovals for you. Flowmaster makes some big standard ovals. Then there are real racing mufflers (some classes require some quietening). Look at

Well, you can just weld about two feet of pipe and some tipos on, but it might be too loud for your tastes, and technically, the guys who inspect the car for your sticker each year want to see some mufflers. But if it is not too loud, try those race mufflers. They don't do much at all and technically your car now has mufflers. But if it is really too loud for you with no mufflers, just p[ut some really big low restriction Flowmasters on it.

I heard this on a truck forum, buy 2 of the cheapest glasspacks you can, and weld them on backwards. You technically have mufflers but in all reality they arent doing a thing.

well the lt1 isnt true duals is it its just one that comes out two off the muffler right ? so i would just be one pipe instead of two and nothing is too loud for me i just dont want to mess anything up by misunderstanding
