This is the only picture I have of one of my vehicles. Not exactly an F body, but ill get one.

I just pulled up the old service receipt from the work that was done at the shop, ill attatch it and hopefully you guys can read what all was replaced. Besides the Optispark, would there be any other immediate things I should check right away?

If it shows up small on your screen, just hit ctr= to make the screen bigger.

Thanks,
Alex

Yeah the car runs great. Just tryin to look ahead and keep a step ahead of anything, at the same time getting to know these cars a lot better.

If i were you start off with bolt ons. Dont even worry about nitrous till you start building the bottom and top end of that car.

Oh for sure. I plan on a slow and steady build/changes to the car. I am actually planning on starting with the interior and working my way out, changing out warn out switches, ext. After that I plan on moving on to wheels/tires, bolt on parts, ext.

The nitrous reference was more to settle my curiousity.

Thanks for the responses guys.

you can throw a small shot of nitrous at it and not hurt it. 125 shot would be safe enough on a stock engine

Holy cow! Whats considered a big shot for one of these motors then? That seems like a lot of nitrous to me....haha....

With a good tune, 150 would probably be the limit I'd ever suggest. But I'm sure you could find youtube vids of 175 shots on stock blocks. :P

I would suggest that with a good rebuild and proper maintenenec you should have lots of miles ahead of you. I'm going on 190K with no internal work at all, haven't even replaced a head gasket (knock on wood). I've changed my oil every 2K miles and it doesn't use any oil except when it has an oil leak. Preatty much replaced everything around the engine though.

Have you done it every 2000 miles the whole time you've owned it? How long has that been?

I'm just asking since most people do it every 3000-5000. I do it every 3000, since It never loses any and it seems to stay nice and fresh/clean.
