i am building more of a race car out of my 1994 lt1 and i would like to do away with the heater hoses since the car wont have heat anyways. So is there any kind of tips you may have to do this? i know there is the water pump that willl need blocked off etc.... any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

Take off one heater hose and loop the other one back to the pump. Do not block off the heater ports on the pump as they provide a bypass when the stat is closed.
