i was looking at buying another z28 camaro. it is a 1995 z28 camaro the engine is rebuilt but trans is bad. the guy also dont have the title to the car. he is sellin the car for 1800 or negotiable. i really want a 98-00 z28 or trans am. i used to have a 95 z28 camaro until i wrecked it. got rid of the the car 2 weeks ago. bad timing i could have used that transmission for this camaro. any my dilema is should persue this on getting this camaro or should just wait ant buy 98-00 z28 or trans am. also where wolud i get a title from if the guy who is sellin the car dont have one.

 

If you really want an LS1 camaro, then i would wait. Though that 95 z28 sounds like a bargan for the price, i got my car for $2,900 with a bad tranny and it still needs some body workand paint. Either way, it all depends on what you rather have, and at this point i think its obvious to have the LS1 over an LT1 power wise,unless you like the93-97 bodystyle better. And about the title, he might have to call the DMV and havethem send him a new one, and knowing the DMV, they'll take forever. Anyways good luck with your choice!

 

Don't buy a car without a title. If there are liens against the car, you will never know till repo-man shows up and takes your car away.

 

yes i agree, never buy a car unless it had a clean title

 

call the dmv with the vin # and see if the title is clear or has leans against it

always makes you wonder why he wouldn't have a title for a '98. prolly he bought it w/o one and can't get one or doesn't want to put the effort into it. becareful.
