cracked block????

Alright so heres the deal.
I recently got my LT1 camaro back after 6 months of repairs. We had the engine completely rebuilt after only 73000 miles because a blown headgasket. It was completely repaired. Now heres where i get lost. we got it back and just 3 days later it seemed to be running a little warm it would creep up almost 3/4 of the heat guage so we decided to get it checked we thought it mightve been the fans or the radiator. So then i get a call and the place we took it to said that theres carbon monoxide in the water. Is this a blown head gasket or is something cracked? The place that rebuilt the engine said they magnafluxed everything is t possible they couldve missed a hairline fracture?
I dnt think the head gasket wouldve blown after only 33 miles it never reached the red zone on the heat guage.
If you have any insight i would be glad to hear it

ok check it out i had the same thing happen to me to fix it you need to buy new head bolts and liquid teflon take one bolt out at a time starting in the center and following the torque pattern and pull the old one out and coat the new one with the teflon and put it in and torque it down and then go on to the next and repeat on both side and that should clear up your problem you will have to pull the headers or exhaust manifolds to get to the lower head bolts

so what you said aboutthe bolts is it a common problem among rebuilt engines?

only if you get a rookie rebuilding the motor then yes it is a simple fix it'll take you about an hour or two depending on your ability i recommend if your going to do it your self then you get a chiltons manual it will take alot of the guess work out the process

i hope u took it back to the place that rebuilt it. if u paid to have it done right and it wasnt then its on there back and they should be the ones fixing it. if u go tearing into it then they will say u did it.
