how will the lt1 hang with the new chargers 425 hp thats alot but no standard tranny only the auto with the techtronic which in my opinion is slower to shift with.........also how hard is it to put a rear mounted turbo on a lt1 and is it the right way to go

well it depends, how much power do you want to add to the car, and do you want a supercharger or a turbo charger. Personally from experience I would go with a good supercharger for about around $4000, that's the way to go. Now what do you mean by "rear mounted turbo"?

yea, ive seen the remote mount, they are quite nice, basically a turbo that mounts at the rear end, turbocharging the exhust, while still charging the intake, just not as much.

well what kind of exhaust you got on there? second throw on a cold air intake which ups your horsepower a good amount. Also you should throw on a performance strut bar if you want to make quick turns, it just makes the car more sturdier, doesn't effect the horses. Also you can buy this ---http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/HYP30025.htm in which you can change the gear ratios and accleration, and do a few other things. Hope that helps a little, at least for now lol.
