recheck the plug wires while everything is out of the way. change the seals on the front cover. specially the water pump seal. 69 has a thread on here that shows how to make a magic marker end into a seal installer. i have one that i picked up on the net that is the right tool and it works great. went through three seals trying to get it on right not useing the tool. have not ruined one yet useing the tool. kent-morre j 39089 and it looks alot like a magic marker cap only way sorter.

oh and use some rvt on the dizzy cap seal and use electrical grease on the plug wire ends. seals stuff up a little better from the water.

thanks man, lots of damn work lol, rims are professionally powder coated with semi gloss, and the side markers and tail lights are done with a spray tint called VHT tail light tint, search for it on eBay, its some awesome stuff http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VHT-N...item3efc21343b

More often than not, it's the cap and rotor contacts that gets all corroded and causes the misfire. It would be the same as never giving an old style ignition a tune up for 100k miles or more. But since it's a project just to get to the opti, you're better off replacing the whole thing.
