Broke Sensor
 

Yesterday as I was putting the LT1 back into my Z28 I snagged the sensor thats on the drivers side head, it got caught on the header. I went to the parts store to ask what it was......there clueless, so I was gonna buy a haynes book for the car, guess what no go also, was gonna have to order it and it could take a week to get it.

So does anyone know what that sensor is? is it something to do with the temp?

Well I would think it was the temp sensor
You have the plug? Ground it and see if the temp gauge pegs hot

temp gage sensor. not to be confused with the temp sensor. yep there different.

Yeah I shoulda clarified by temp gauge sensor but for obvious reasons I wouldn't of thunk you could of broke the temp sensor by way of the headers but then again I have messed up worse in weirder ways
