Hey, I am looking to swap my k-member for a tubular one. I am wondering which one members from this forum like the best? I am doing this in a 96, and will be retaining the LT1. I am looking to lose the power steering unless people who have done it, tell me that I shouldn't. So I am in the market for a tubular LT1 K-member with the manual rack option. I am going to be using the Hooker full length headers, unless someone knows of a better/cheaper brand, that are not junk. I am cash in hand if someone wants to sell any of the above mentioned parts.

There's several out there, I know BMR and Spoon make one, I think RK Sports also has one. I don't know anyone that's switched one out, so I can't recommend one.

 

i have a PA racing chromoly kmember its a real nice piece and is light! its about 18lbs. whoever you go with pay for the chromoly its alot lighter. and the only manuel rack i know about is madman racing's. im sure if you get a chromoly kmember from madman and the rack you may get a deal but there products aren't the cheapest but are real high quality
