Berger rear panel

Alright I havent slept yet so while I was up I decided to paint the berger panel black... I took it off and sanded it then primered it and wetsanded then I did 3 coats of gloss black and 2 coats of krystal clear coat im waiting for it to dry to put it back on.

I will post all the pics I took in the process and when its done when I put it back on.. So stay tuned...

You do realize that you have the ability to edit your post and put in the pictures right? Just checking...

Yeah I know how many pictures am I allowed per post though?

Question? Does painting the Berger panel stem back from someone/something? Racing? Special edition model?

I see several people painting the Berger panel a different color(black).

Just curious.

I think it dates back to the orginal fisrt gens. With the SS option small block had regular tail pans big blocks were blacked out.
