As long as your o2 sims are working and not triggering the check engine light, it's okay. You do lose some low end torque but gain power at the top of the power band.

o2 sims are a pain in the ***. If it was the EGR vavle, it wouldn't start or lose tons of power and it won't idle. So I think it's the sensor for the EGR flow. Personally, I go with high flow cats. Just so your computer doesn't go ape ****.

When downstream O2 sensors first came on line, the computer program just looked to see if the downstream sensors were seeing a clean exhaust. Later programminggot more sophisticated and looks to see that the downstream sensors are reacting to what the upstram sensors are doing. Beacause the sims always put out the same voltages the computer picks that up and sets a code. So like Norman said, put a good set of cats in. The car will be happy and you will also help the environment.

Hooray for helping the enviornment! On the other hand, you need to find a mechanic...since when do O2 sensors coorespond in any way to the egr?

Nothing much to do with the EGR , just talking about O2 sims, which really do nothing.

I was just saying, he needs to find a new guy, 'cause O2 sims and EGR shouldn't be conflicting at all...
