Ok, so from what I can gather, I've heard good things about the lt4 hot cam, crane 227, comp cam 503 and comp cam 305

my car is a street/ daily driver 6 speed car

current/future mods:

4.10
K&n CAI
pacesetter long tubes
true duals
hurst s/t
Drag radials.


maybe in the future head porting ?


(some mods are irrelevant to cam i know, but wanted to make things clear)

You're better off doing your bolt on mods before you re-cam it, the stock intake and exhaust system will have a hard time keeping up the airflow if you put in a new cam. Just some food for thought there. As far as the cam, you're best bet is matching heads and cam together, if you aren't planning on changing the heads out, you can always get ahold of comp cams tech help and they can help you choose a cam depending on what you want to do with the car. A cam isn't an easy choice...you have a pretty long road ahead of you, good luck! Just a little suggestion, the LT4 hotcam is a little on the mild side, you may want to go a bit bigger than it and others like it.

 

ya the lt4 is out of the question, I'm leaning towards the CC503, Crane 227, or LPE (lingenfelter ) 211/219

( I have a k&n CAI, and headers on the way, doing my own custom x-pipe to TD setup)
haven't updated my sig lol.

Crane 227: (210/224 .511/.553 112lsa) w/1.6RR's

LPE 211/219: (211/219 .530/.560 112lsa) w/ 1.6RR's
