Default aftermarket problems

alright i recently bought an aftermarket pioneer head unit stereo and a walmart wiring harness made for the 93-97 bose system. we hooked everything up the way the directions said and the unit will turn on all the controls work but when i have it up and running there is no sound... we put a cd in the head unit showed it was playing the songs and there was no sound... everything is hooked up according to the directions between the head unit and the harness but still no sound. we tried two different head units and two harnesses... any suggestions before i take it to get pro-installed?

Bose speakers use lower impedance. There is an aftermarket adapter that can be bought but the reviews I've seen posted aren't too positive. Perform a search as I deleted the bookmark. I just bought another Bose unit and didn't deal with the aftermarket
