no, it won't work. when they gave the Camaro a facelift for '98, they changed the hood as well. the pre-98 hood is pretty much flat, whereas the 98+ hoods have bulges on either side to follow the shape of the headlights.

You will need to get one specific to 93-97. As ghostpopi posted they have the earlier style hoods with the newer style scoop. You could also get an SS replica from 96-97. Or you could go all out (and ruin your car 
) and give the car an entire new front end.
