does jegs have a warrenty on there opit? we have a site sponsor on here that sells a lifetime warrented opti for under 200 bucks. (chandlermotorsports) on the other hand i use a msd and have a gm performance as a backup. summit used to warrenty there gm performance for a year and the msd opti's for two years not completely sure if they still do.

 

Like they said, MEASURE the fuel pressure, and drop with vacuum applied to the regulator. Make sure it MEETS the specs. If it does then it is electrical. You can then check the Opti signals and go from there.

 

Well 12 hours later and a msd opti spark and alot of ciggs haha the opti is replaced and the car seems to be running as good as ever!! Thankyou so much everyone for all the help!

 

Ok so another problem has appeared the car has a hard time starting I get gas and spark and im sure it is getting air but it doesn't seem to want to strt any ideas?

 

check fuel pressure ...last time i ran into this problem on my msd opti the rotor bolts were loose the rotor bolts come coated with thread locked and if you removed them you have to replaced them.

 

problem is fixed they sent me a bad opti again freaking jegs how dare they but I got a replacement and all is well the car is running tip top now thankyou everyone for all the help!!!
