Default 95 z28 - having starting problems (resolved)

having difficulty starting, will not take any throttle and dies. upon waiting apprx 20 min, will start and clear its throat and run fine. problems showing up more frequently. also, car fell on its face after making left turn then died while waiting at a light. had to wait 20 min again and removed intake from throttle body along with disconnecting sensor. managed to drive it home but as long as i kept my idle high, i avoided stalling. after letting it sit over night - car started like a champ. later that day, same problem all over again. any thoughts?

if u get a ignition modual and put it in and it doesnt make any difference then save the old/new one and put it in the glove box. when mine went i would make it a ways down the road and it would die. then i would get a ride home get the truck and a body to drive it to tow me home. when i would get there 20 or so minutes later the car would start right up. this happened a few times before a friend that owned a parts store told me to change the ignition modual. that was it. a tired coil will quit sometimes when it gets hot or warmed up. and yep it could be the opti.

well, i've got some news... turns out, i've got a crack in my radiator that is spewing coolant. my dad thinks its been spraying my distributor and that might be the reason for the issues i've been having. i found a new radiator on ebay for only $22! as soon as we get the new one, i will post what we find in the process. thanks for the replies!

so far, as long as i stuff a rag around the crack on the radiator - the car runs like a champ. it gave me some trouble the other night but as soon as i took the rag out and rung it out and stuffed it back in place - the car ran like a champ again. unfortunately, i had to replace my pass side headlight and running light (bulb) yesterday - fog light will be next. ugh. i imagine the coolant had something to do with it, though. i did happen to notice that my fuel line leading into my fuel filter may have had a pinch in it at some point, as well. i just took a zip tie to secure the filter a little better until it gets replaced with the radiator.
