Exclamation 95 z gpm

Since i sold the 95 v6, I'm out to buy a Z. I am concerned with gas mileage cause in the fall I will be a college student commuting a total of 60 miles to/from school in interstates and metro traffic. This add caught my eye- http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/1679256374.html

Is his horsepower/torque levels accurate? And with a LT1 running at 65mph at 1400 rpms, what gas mileage would I be getting?

also, even though the motor has relativly moderate miles, what problems should start occuring with it? I don't think he has changed the optispark

torque seems high but the horsepower is probably close

the RPM at 65 seems quite low to me...i was thinking i was around 2 grand at 65...but i guess i could be wrong there too.

well look for the infamous LT1 intake leak. it happens over time. opti isn't something to worry about until it craps out.

there's nothing really specific to look for with an LT1 car than you would look for in any car. seems to be a decent deal

Thats about right Wammer, with auto tranny and 3.23 rear end, mine sits at 1900 rpm at 60mph 2400 @ 75 mph. and 17/18 city and 23 hwy at best light footed driving. If your concerned about GM then look for a V6 standard 6 spd.
