Default 94 Z28 suspension mods

Okay here I am, a newbie, just bought a used 1994 Z28 White convertible. Looking for inexpensive way to improve handling.
For braking there is place here where for $200.00 I can get 4 new rotors cut and drilled along with ceramic brake pads, this should get rid of the slightly warped feel of the rotors now.

Found KYB's all the way around for $380 installed but they say the ride will be stiffer, feel stiff already to me. car hits a bump going around a corner and it can get a little hop.
Tranny is awesome automatic with hard shift and chirps second if I goose it.

What I want is a little better handling in general, front steerign is a little heavy. want to improve cornering, Ive been spoiled by our other cars.

this is our weekend top down cruiser, already has header, MS ignition and not sure what else but it does haul but!!

Any help on some inexpensive ways to improve cornering please let me know.

Do the 1994 Z28's come with front and rear sway bars? If anyone knows please let me know.

thanks
Bernie

yes they have front and rear sway bars upgrading those will help cornering. and if the kyb's are kyb agx adjustables then they are a decent shock. if you get a set of lowering springs that should give it a better lower stance and new springs. those are the basics for cornering. there's more you can do lca's torque arm panhard bar.

Considering the age of the car, before spending money on performance items for the suspension, you should make sure the steering and suspension are up to specs. That includes ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, steering rack mounting, etc. If these items are worn, performance parts will just make things feel worse.
