Did the car ever run right since the mods were done?

Yes its ran right before my tuner seems to think I he might have to much timing down low in the tune he sent me new tune but I haven't loaded it yet cause my MSD opti I sent back to MSD to get checked out to see if it was tha problem I've replaced fpr changed injectors change fuel pump and checked psi changed ICM ect wires plugs tps maf has all been changed so hopefully the new tune will fix it if its not the opti being bad but MSD will check that thanks for everyones help means a lot really I think it has something to do with to much advance timeing down low in tune that will give me surgeing idle r hunting and have a hesitation r could choke eng out when revd hard but before my tuner got back to me and told me bout timing in tune I done sent my dam opti back to MSD so I gotta wait bout 2 weeks to get it back now if it is to much timing then I don't know why tuner put that much in there to begin with unless he don't no what he's doing r trying to blow up my car ????? But as soon as opti gets back I'll give u guys an update thank u again for all y'alls help I'm greatful!!! One more thing when I dataloged I seen 33 degrees of timing at idle I thought that was way to much but I don't no I'm no tuner he said its called closed tps timing then when I rev full throttle it jumps to bout 42 degrees of timing this is what I'm seeing on datalog don't no if that's normal r not ?????

So it ran good before on this tune and now it runs bad and you think it is a tune problem? Does he think it is a weather thing?

This is a new tune from him for new cam and I had heads shaved and thinner head gaskets so bump compression to 11:1 and changed tranny and got bigger stall so got new tune and its been running like this since new tune and his tune before that I really never got to run cause something else was going on with car not motor related it was my rear end and since I was changing rear end I went ahead and pulled motor and change cam and wanted the compression bumped up alittle so shaved heads had them tested and went thinner head gasket got everything back together and got another tune from Solomon and been having this problem ever since

Didn't shave heads much only shaved 10 thousands then had .49 thousands thick head gaskets on it before went to fel pro 1074 .39 thousands so total of bout .20 thousands was 10.4 compression went to 11.1 plus I got heads pressure tested to make sure they was OK there Afr 195 cc. CNC ported and put comp 306 cam and new 4l60e tranny and FTI 3600 stall got new tune for that never got chance to drive other tune Solomon did that had hotcam and 10.4 compression and 2400 tci breakaway flash stall but I did crank it up and it wasn't idleing good and didn't have good throttle response so that's all I no bout old tune but this tune is cutting out like its choked out on full throttle from idle

Go get the car Dyno tuned. There is no way anyone is going to get all the potential out of those mods by guessing. No offence to Solomon but a decent dyno tuner is going to try stuff see how the car reacts and make adjustments. Even things like how well the ports line up and how much blow by you have can effect the tune. There is manufacture variation in every part.

I see how a PCM can go bad but I do not understand how a tune can go bad. All the tune is a bunch of "If" inputs "then" outputs. It can not handle a variable correctly. Example: It can be good at one temperature and bad at another. It should not just go bad. I guess like in a PC data can be corrupt but I fail to see how the chances would be any greater of that on a stock tune vs custom tune.

the way i understand it is your burning over other information and sometimes it leaks or doesn't take right. mine seemed to run ok for a short time but went south pretty fast.
