93 lt1 stock, cam?
since these motors like vacuum and it is mostly stock, what cam would do good for me, noticable idle difference, yet run good? it is my everyday driver in the summer but i am building it this fall. help would be appreciated. oh it has 146000 on it but not for long i am completely rebuilding everything.

so this is a recomendation on a cam for a build? i would do what i did. lol. look over the elliotts portworks stuff. i went with the 224/230 cam, le2 heads with a port job on the stock intake.

Just give us a call (972-617-5671) and we can go over your set up and help you decide what cam will work best for your set up. |
You say to get the le2 heads. Won't the heads I have now do the job for what I am wanting to do with the car? I want to keep it for my driver in the summers but I also want it fast and built. I am a sophomore in college right now and am building it in the fall class. Im keeping the stock stall. Just re did the whole trans. High perf band, complete overhaul kit, and shift kit. I am also going with .411 limited slip rear end this summer. I want a mild cam but not for it to affect driveability for street applications. I dont know if what I want is impossible or not lol. Sorry for the long post. Just thought it would help eveyone give me help on what to do.
