383 help?

Question 383 help?

I have an lt1 camaro and lookin 2 stroke it out 2 a 383 where could i go 2 find good parts but 4 a cheap price? Thanks.

whoa whoa whoa...you're kind of jumping the gun here. first off...what are your goals for the car and what status is it at now?

383 stroker and cheap dont go hand in hand.

sure they do...just won't be reliable

cheap, fast, reliable......you only get to pick 2

sweet ill pick cheap and reliable then

id reccomend a forged rotating assembly when doing a stroker motor

you can go cast since its cheaper

cast is cheaper but not as strong...i'd definitely recommend a fully forged rotating assembly...stronger and can handle some nitrous later on down the road

you may be better off buyin a shortblock. the machine works goin to cost ya. wats your budget on this. wat do you consider cheap?

i'm dying for more info here! haha...you can't come in and say "383 build" and then wait a day to respond...we get excited! haha

i get the same way about builds and all get real excited and bein at the boring job i am i check every 10 seconds. if you were wonderin the cage is complete except door bars.
