275/40/17 tire
before I buy a 275/40/17 tires for my front wheels, 17x9.5. Just wanted to be sure nobody had any issues with the same size tire rubbing while making turns or etc.

i have 275/35/18n on front. you will be fine. mine is lowered as well. width wasnt the issue height was though. word of warning though. that wide of tires on the front seem to grab really hard. handle great but uneven roads or bumps get a little annoying.

i have 275 40 17s all the way around no problems but like imcdowel said every bump or pothole it get sucked into just got to avoid them

you'll be fine but be sure to buy a tire to match your application. If you want to get more than 5-10k miles don't get "performance" tires. You don't want softer material and if you live in a hot climate, you absolutely don't want softer material.

cool, thanks guys.....

Yeah, they won't rub but they will grab every crack, crevace, and rut that they can find! Just be ready to keep both hands on the wheel if you get on a road thats broken down, or is run by 18 wheelers constantly(ruts)!
