Default 1996 Camaro Z28 A4 rear end questions.

well im looking to get a whole new posi rear end and i was wondering what i need to look for and links to sites that will help and if you guys could give me info on what you have and if you like it. i just want a posi rear with 3.73s or 4.10s. my car used to have 3.73s and the previous owner welded the gears together to make it posi but i broke that set up a few months after owning it. now it has a the set up a v6 camaro has but i dont know what that is. its wearing out my passenger side tired quickly.

you can go with another stock 7.5 in. type rearend also called a 10 bolt and have the gears switched to what you want. you will need to know if you have traction control or not, which means if you have traction control you would have two sensors on the rearend (4 channel, one on each side by the brakes) instead of one in the center section (3 channel). you can also go with an aftermarket 12 bolt from a place like these.

it has the traction control button but it doesnt work? i guess the sensors were unplugged or something when the new rearend was installed.
