Im gonna change out my gear in my Camaro, Im thinking I have a 98 model rearend, but wheres a good place to buy a 3.73- 4.11 gear....any links? It is a 10 bolt 7.625, right? I wanna get it in since Im considering selling mine. Thanks

I wouldn't bother putting gears in a stock rear, especially with the mods in your sig.

I was hoping it would be ok since it had good aftermarket axles, they had just back to a 3.42 i believe. I want alittle more.

its the housing that is the weakness. they bend and when they do everything is thrown off causing failure. need to start saving for a 12 bolt or 9 in. may find a used one, good luck on that, i been lookin for 2 years and will be doin a new 9in in a month or so.

I have an extra 9 inch out of my 66 fairlane. but man that alot of work to make that fit. But for the mean time, I think Im gonna throw in a 4.10. Wheres a good place to get a gear set?

I found out today that my z use to have a Moser 12 bolt rearend with 4.10 gear...and the old man traded even for a stock rearend......WOW. I wished I could have got it before he did that.

ddont get richmond gears. gm makes good gears but you pay big time. strange may be ok.

smart guy. ask him why he traded...
useless on the hiway.

Well he pasted away a couple months after i bought it, but i heard it was because he didnt like how low geared it was, but he did realize what it was.
