well, someone who just wants to get rid of it wont even bother trying to pull premium on something that old IMO
Good point, but why would you sell yourself short?

I actually mentioned this to my wife, just as part of conversation to see what she had to say. I asked her how much she would sell a 1994 Camaro for with 21,000 miles. She said she would sell it for around $8,000, which makes perfect sense, even though book value is only around $5,000. She also commented that it sounded too good to be true. Now, I'm not saying that my wife's word is the word of god, but I tend to agree, as I previously mentioned, that this just sounds too good.

A few days ago I actually saw a 1994 Pace Car with 49 miles for sale on eBay. It still had the factory wrapping on the seats, as well as the steering wheel, and looked to be very well documented. The owner was asking $17,100 for it. New, it stickered for around $22,000. This person is asking for $12,000 than what you are saying that this car is worth.

I would definitely be looking for a premium, even if I were trying to get rid of a vehicle. Why sell yourself short?

I'm not disagreeing and saying you're wrong. I'm simply saying that most people would try to pull a premium on a low-mileage car. People surely aren't going to sell it for less than what they can get for it.

Why would someone be in such a hurry to get rid of a car with 21,000 miles on it?

I got mine for 2400 but it had a bad fuel pump, Has 110,00 on it but after i replaced the fuel pump it runs awesome. I'd say if there nothing wrong with it then 5K is a good deal for only 21,000

Sounds too good to be true. I myself have a 1994 z28. I paid 2500 for it and it had 129000 on it and a bad transmission. And now its parked because the trans finally went out.

Just to let you know I think that the 4L60E is junk. I am on my fourth transmission. It seems like once you start putting HP to a stock one it goes quick.

buy that car!! that car is worth helly more than what edmunds or kbb says, these car a collecters items now belive me, i know many collecters who have paid out over 10 grand for a 94-97 z with under 10,000, just yesterday i was looking in the dupont directory and i saw an 96 impala SS with 22,000 and the guy was asking some crazy *** price like 30,000 you know what though. wait long enough and someone will buy it. Last summer i saw a rare 97 SS with the LT4, with the sticker in the window, white with orange stripes anniversary edition. it had 7,000 miles on it the thing was mint, i almost threw up when he told me he was offered $32,000 and he declined, but you know what, the next day it was gone, never saw it again. must have gotten what he wanted.
