Default **Where's a good Shop??**

Some of the mods I wana add to my z28 i cant do myself, so I gotta find a shop to go to. The LT1/4l60e drivetrain is fairly straight forward, so could I go to my regular shop, or would I benefit from going to a specialty shop?? I'm in Central MN,,,anyone from the area, know of a respectable shop for my z28??

It would depend on the mods you're wanting to do as to if your regular shop could do them. I would think anything that doesn't cause the car to need retuned could be done there. If it's something that would call for a retune you'd probably be better off taking it to a speed shop.

like arrow said, it depends on the mods you want performed. if its headers, you're going to get charged a lot to have it done. i'd think there's somewhere in the twin cities that would be a good speed shop, but i personally haven't heard of any. let me know if you find one though...otherwise i'll end up driving to the chicago area to tune my car
