SLP Diablo sport TUNER

Hi i am wondering if the SLP tuner will work with my 98 z28 camaro because it is the ls1 just like the 99 and up models but i dont get why the web sites say that the tuners are for 99 and up???????

the 98 ECU is different to the 99 ecu.

if you have the 99 one (some late 98 cars did) then you are ok
my cars build date is dec 98 but it has the 99 ecu
