^ Do not descreen -- you are just asking for troubles...

Don't just hack up a nice car. Anyone can be a hammer mechanic -- it takes skill to do things right.

You usually descreen when you get tuned. If done properly, removing the bottom of the air box is not a hack job. Unfortunately, there are the cases where people should have left well enough a lone.

i have done all the free mods that dont require hacking... my car is a race car as well as daily and i am trying to keep the value up, at least for now, just in case because im only 20, anything could happen, ie. i did ones like the throttle body one, re route the hose around tb and plug tb, that could be reversed for w.e reason but did make a good dif on the air temp after the tb, im not planning on changing out my ram aim slp intake that i have right now, its got a k&n filter in it and theres alot of people i know running the same thing that are pulling tens... so its obviously a decent setup, the tb size enlarge is to prepare me for the cam this winter, and i get PLENTY of air to support an 85 right now according to my mechanic, the question was is the 90mm worht it? at this point i dont think so

If you were going to port the LS6 intake to match the 90mm TB then yes, it would be worth it. If not then go with the 85.
