Default Panhard bar question...

I recently just lowered my camaro with the eibach pro kit and kyb agx adjustable shocks/ struts. I have been bottoming out quite a bit now and the sidewalls on my tires are getting chewed up. I was wondering if i bought an upgraded panhard bar it might help the situation. would this make a difference or not? I just want some input on what i should do about this.

I got the same set up, but with an UMI adjustable panhard rod, it lets you re centre the axle as when you lower the car i pushes the axle to the left slightly. Which wheel is getting chewed up? what rims have you got on?

I have 18" BMW m3 rims and they stick out more so i still had to cut my arches

its strange that both sides are getting chewed, the stock rims are usually a hight +ve offset which pushes the wheels inwards ore so they do not scrape.

Mine got chew because my m3 wheels are +24 offset on a 9J rim and stick out 26 mm more than my stock 16's. I had to mark and cut the arch. You can get them rolled but it may crack the paint and collect dirt in the rolled up bit. I cut mine very carefully with a milling/porting tool in a drill ( a dremel may work but its prob not heavy duty enough). This can take an hour or more though. Take time an dont stip!, youll have to repaint the inner bit with some rust resistant primer and some red paint, you can brush it because its inside and on the edge so it shouldn't be seen.

Do you have a pic of how low your car is? and what have you set your shocks to , mine are 7 on the rear to keep it up more

I havent tried adjusting my shocks and struts yet. I didnt think it would make that much of a difference.

This is mine on the rear, its super low but my stacks are set pretty had which means that it doesnt bounce as much, plus these dont scrape, ill try get a side pic soon to show how wide the wheels are

You can roll them yourself but its pricy? its upto you really, from your pic it looks like they shouldnt really scrape cause there not tht wide. do you have a trunk install?
