I was thinking about bying the msd tune up kit for my 2000 Camaro SS is it worth the money ?

It really depends, how many miles does your car have on it?
What exactly does the kit come with?

More than likely I would say no but if you have a car with high milage I am sure you can get everything on that list cheaper.

example: NGK TR55 plugs are like 16-20 bucks for all 8.

Nah....the stock blaster coils are fine and do a good job. Once you get your car in the 10sec range and you have every other mod installed, THEN maybe you can get those MSD ones. Really most people get them just for show. Put Fuel rail covers on, cheaper and looks cleaner.

And many many people will tell you to keep your stock wires. Even the MSD ones tend to break when switching out plugs because of their two piece construction. Plusthe distance of the wire is so short, it won't make a difference. Alot of people go right back to the stock wires. Trust me, just get the plugs, change out all of your fluids (oil, brake, maybe differential...etc.) maybe get a radiator flush, fuel injector cleaning, check for any leaks. You'll be fine. And save some $$$ for those things that will really help out.
