im 19, bought my 99 SS when i was 18, before that i had a 1976 stingray at 16 and 1994 z28 at 17....to anyone paying high on insurance, you should think of getting a 2nd car and having the CAMARO as a pleasure vehicle, not an everyday driver (you can still drive it everyday but the insurance company wont charge you like you are)...thats i how i get away with it my insurance on my 02 dakota sport and 99 SS, full coverage on both is 203 a month

My first car was an 80 toy tercel I got for $450. By 19 I was pullin down $21,000 per at St. Louis Auto Shredding. I see what late model Z28's and SS's go for and I can tell you I never had that kind of money when I was 16,17 and 18. Hell I'm 31 now and I still could'nt swing it.

i bought my stingray from a friend for under 3 grand ...first night, it needed a new engine so he took price of engine off price of the car, had it for 6 months, sold it...doubled my money, bout my 94 z28...drove it for a year and a half, put 20k on it and sold it for 1000 more then what i paid,...ive had 8 cars, made money on all of them (except one, it was a rebuilt title and didnt wanna mess with it)....now i have a 99 SS with 8k miles on it, bout it for 16 grand with 4k on it, got an offer 3 weeks ago for 21500, and its got 9k on it....its to nice to let go just yet....

I just turned 18 and I have my 1967 SS Camaro. I plan on keeping it for a long time too. I have collector car insurance on it and it only $150 a year for full coverage. I drive my 2000 dodge dakota everyday and its $400 every four months for liability.

i bought my 77 when i was fifteen my dad didn't want me to go fast in it so he said he wouldn't by me anything related to performance but if i could save the money he would let me. Not thinking that i would. i'm 20 now and it has a full costum interior new paint and 420hp at the wheels i bet he is regreating that now

wow im prolly one of the youngest.im 15 turning 16 in bout a month and i dont even have my permit yet but i have a 98 z28 all black.LOL i cant wait to see what my insurance is gonna be???ha ha
