well as the title says. tonight im hoping to purchase a 99 z28 camaro auto. but im alittle scared because there is a change oil light on the display and the guy said he just changed the oil. so what do you think is wrong???? it has 79000 miles and there is nothing wrong that the owner knows of. and im getting it for a low price. thanks guys. mike

probably will go away on its own, if your still scared, just get the oil changed, i doubt there is anything wrong unless you hear some loud clanging or something.

The light needs to be turned off, I forget how to do it exactly but the light will stay on until you clear it. Do a Google search and I am sure somthing will come up.

 

turn the key to acc and hold the reset button down for like 10 seconds or something like that

i always have to turn mine off because i get the oil changed before 3K miles most of the time
