Exhaust Help

Hey guys, im currently tryin to figure out what exhaust setup i want to buy for this summer. The problem is I will more than likely have to piece it together over time. I want to get pacesetter headers and a tsp catted y. If i bought this would it produce good power and sound with the stock exhaust? I also want to get a magnaflow catback, but i will not be able to buy all at once. Also, has anybody run pacesetter headers and a tsp catted y? Whats the fitment like? Thanks guys any info would be great.

The Pacesetter long tube headers are notorious for hitting the steering shaft. This is due to bad motor mounts from what I've researched.

I myself thought of getting the pacesetter/tsp combo. I have read good things but don't know for sure yet. Buffalo, if your motor mounts are good will that likely prevent the problem with them hitting the steering shaft?

I'm thinking of getting PaceSetter headers with tsp catted y. I had pacesetters on my v6 before, they were sick, I'm sure on a V8 would be BETTER. I was also thinking of getting Hookers headers but heard they suck. I REALLY want Kooks but they're way too expensive, so might end up getting pacesetters again for the SS ;)
