alright im lookin to do true duals on my 02 ss. im going with pacesetter lt to some cut outs to an x-pipe, to flowmaster super 40,s and dumping it out under the car right b4 the rear end. im goin to use 3" pipe all the way. am i gonna have enough back pressure and any guesses on the power gain? oh yeah no cats as well. thanks

 

You will be fine this is a very common set-up.

from what I've heard is that flowmasters resrict air flow causing power loss. Go with magnaflow or dynomax

 

i heard that two but i think thats the exhaust kit not just the mufflers, but i could be wrong, maybe JD1969 would know the answer to that b/c i really like the way flowmasters sound with no cats.

Flowmasters are not THE best flowing mufflerm they do cost a couple of hp, but if you like how they sound it's not that big of a deal. Personally I hate how they sound but thats just my opinion.

 

well what would be a good muffler for hp and sound?
